My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please help us welcome Rusty to the rescue!

This little guy is about 5 months old and part of a local TNR effort. As you can see, when he was trapped we noticed he had an issue with his eye. It turns he was born with a tiny eye.

This condition can cause recurrent eye infections and problems and is best treated by removing the eye. Rusty is going to have his eye removal surgery Thursday.

Once Rusty has that surgery and a little time to recover, he will be ready to find his family 🧡

If you think this adorable little guy is the kitten for you, please apply!

We do ask that kittens go in pairs unless you have another kitten or young cat at home. You can research single kitten syndrome and adopting kittens in pairs to learn why.

More about this rescue

Five Friends Animal Rescue, Inc. is a foster-based animal welfare organization of volunteers dedicated to rescuing homeless dogs and cats from overcrowded shelters, strays, and owner surrenders. We provide these animals with care and temporary homes until we can place them into their permanent homes. We also serve as a resource to our community by providing information on pet ownership, including resources for spay/neuter and positive behavior training. We believe that no animal should be mistreated and are working towards the day when no companion animal is euthanized for lack of a home.
