My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please help us welcome the beautiful Maui to the rescue!

Maui is 6 years old and looking for her second chance. She is very loving and wants to be close to her family. She enjoys sleeping in bed with her people. When she really wants your attention, she does a huge meow almost like a little cry for help and that’s her letting you know where she’s at in the house and come pet her 😊.

Maui loves cat nip and scratching posts and loves to be in cat towers. She loves to play, but also enjoys basking in the sun by a good window. She has lived with other cats and dogs before and is fine with them.

More about this rescue

Five Friends Animal Rescue, Inc. is a foster-based animal welfare organization of volunteers dedicated to rescuing homeless dogs and cats from overcrowded shelters, strays, and owner surrenders. We provide these animals with care and temporary homes until we can place them into their permanent homes. We also serve as a resource to our community by providing information on pet ownership, including resources for spay/neuter and positive behavior training. We believe that no animal should be mistreated and are working towards the day when no companion animal is euthanized for lack of a home.
