Goose - Goose is quite literally a silly goose. I have been challenged to think of a dog that is as funny as goose and with as much personality despite his age. A bit rambunctious but in all the best ways. Will chase the ball sun up to sundown, loves getting his neck scratched especially under the chin, and is a huge puzzle feeder enthusiast. Very very smart boy. Warms up so quick with everyone he’s ever met.
Goose is in need of a foster home ASAP!! You provide the love, we will continue to provide food, vet care, preventative meds, and supplies.
All American Mix. His mama appears to be a Boxer mix. We think they may potentially have some pitbull terrier, lab, hound.
We try to limit our travel time for home visits to a two-hour driving range (about 75 miles) from Morganton, NC.

You can visit our website to complete an application and e-fax it to us or mail it or e-mail it back. We will check references and set up a home visit once the animal is identified. The adoption fee is $100 - seniors always receive a 25% reduction in adoption fee as does a veteran or military person. Both discounts may be combined.

A Better Life Animal Rescue, Inc. is a no-kill foster home-based rescue organization located in Burke County, North Carolina. We do not operate an animal shelter. We rely on volunteer foster families to provide temporary care for rescued dogs and cats until they can either be matched with loving, responsible, permanent adoptive families or until lost pets can be reunited with their own loving families. Our mission is to reduce pet overpopulation and to save dogs and cats whose lives are in jeopardy because of neglect, mistreatment, illness, injury or ignorance.
