Big Papa is a handsome brown tabby with a big name- and an even bigger heart. True to his title, he earned the name "Big Papa" because of his impressive size, but don't let that fool you-this gentle giant is all sweetness and snuggles. Big Papa is incredibly affectionate and loves being around his people. He'll happily curl up beside you on the couch and offer a comforting purr after a long day.
Big Papa would fit beautifully into almost any loving home. Whether you have a bustling household or just want a loyal companion to share quiet evenings with, he's ready to be you main man.
Big Papa is ~5 years old, neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and in great health. He does a great job of keeping his litterbox tidy. All he needs now is his forever home! He goes great with other cats, dogs and kids in the household.
Big Papa is currently in Houston, Texas but can be transported to the Northeast, the Pacific Northwest, Colorado, or locations along their route.

ROSES (Reducing Overpopulation: Spay/Neuter Education & Support) exists to conduct outreach, community education, fundraising, and service navigation to encourage spay/neuter for dogs and cats in overpopulated communities.
"ROSES Rescues" is an offshoot of this mission that helps the strays, rescue transfers, and owner surrenders that our volunteers and partners encounter and need help matching with forever homes.
We are located in Houston, Texas and are a FULLY foster-based rescue with no physical shelter location. We proudly transport our kitties to wonderful adopters in the Northeast, Pacific Northwest, Colorado, and locations along those routes, so please feel free to check out our pets and see if we have a transport spot close to you!
