My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

#A5754121 Lily is a 6-year-old female German Shepherd with a beautiful brown coat and a graceful, elegant presence. Weighing 61.2 lbs, Lily was surrendered on February 5, 2026, after her family lost their home. She arrived with two other dogs ( Cheech A5754122 and Pete A5754123 ) and may even be their mom — a loyal, steady girl who has clearly known companionship.

Lily is calm in her kennel and carries herself with quiet intelligence. She’s good with large dogs and has a composed, thoughtful demeanor. With stability and love, she has all the potential to truly flourish. Lily would thrive in a caring home that appreciates her smart, gentle nature and is ready to give her the security she deserves. She is adoptable with a $50 trust deposit.

More about this rescue

United Hope for Animals is a 501c3 non-profit organization committed to creating a world where our relationship with animals is guided by compassion and responsibility. We actively work toward bringing an end to the needless suffering of companion animals through community-based programs here at home and across the border.

The United States euthanizes more than one million dogs and cats each year. Through our Shelter Support Program, we work in partnership with local shelters to reduce this number by raising public awareness about shelter adoption and facilitating rescue and adoption of sheltered animals. In the process, we bring dignity and hope to the many lives that would otherwise pass anonymously through the animal control system.
