My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

What my friends at ACC say about me:

I would appreciate slow introductions to new people and places to help me feel safe.

I love getting pets and - you guessed it - snuggles!

I will need daily physical activity to keep me healthy and happy!

Meet Fendi!

Fendi came to us as a stray with limited history. She previously lived with children and multiple other dogs. Since arriving, she has been described as relaxed and friendly at intake. Outside of her kennel she is loose, wiggly, and treat-motivated, happily engaging with handlers. In new spaces she may appear a bit distracted, exploring and checking in with her person, but she allows handling and petting with a neutral, easygoing demeanor.

My Ideal Home

Fendi would do best in a calm, initially quiet home where she can settle in at her own pace. While she has a medium-to-low energy level, she will still benefit from daily mental and physical enrichment such as food puzzles, long-lasting chews, and interactive games. She can be slightly fearful in new environments, so adopters should use a gentle, patient approach and allow her to choose when to engage. Giving her time to acclimate and build confidence will help her feel secure and thrive.

Good with Kids?

Yes. Fendi previously lived with children and was reported to do well. As always, respectful interactions and supervision are recommended.

Good with Other Pets?

Fendi previously lived with multiple dogs but has been described as not particularly interested in interacting with other dogs. During dog-to-dog introduction at the care center, she paced and ignored the other dog. She may do best as the only dog or with a calm companion who respects her space. History with cats is unknown.

Overall Health

Healthy overall at this time.

Behavior Determination

Level 1 - Fendi has demonstrated friendly, manageable behavior during her assessment. She may be slightly fearful in new environments and would benefit from a patient adopter who allows her to adjust at her own pace.

Other Fun Facts

Fendi may be vocal in her kennel, but once she's out, she turns into a wiggly, treat-loving companion. She enjoys exploring her surroundings, checking in with her person, and quietly doing her own thing. With time and patience, she'll blossom into a loyal and steady companion.
