My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello,
Our names are Andre' (m), Stacy (f), Tracy (f), and Lacy (f). We have to be the sweetest, funniest, happiest babies you have ever met.

Our story starts out very sad and heartbreaking. We like so many were dumped out in the country with no houses around. Pretty much, we were left to die.

But thats not what happened. A couple was scouting for a place to shoot a movie. Not just a scouting trip, but a rescue. God's hand written all over this. Our scary tragedy changed to a glorious chance for a new home we deserve.

So, the couple scouting, reached out to see if any rescue had fosters or shelters had any room. A rescue said yes, CarltonRescue- OperationPuppyLove501c3. Here we are.

Soon we will be ready to go to our furever homes and live the adventure that includes you. I want to go on hikes, go to the beach, play in the water and learn what it is to be loved.

Please request an application from alittlelonger2home@gmail.com. When you receive the application, please fill it out completely including your three references email addresses. The references cannot be related to you.

The next step after submitting your application is to submit your refundable deposit $200. This deposit and application are an indication of your intention to adopt me. I will be reserved for only you to adopt.

I am waiting...

More about this rescue

My name is Carla Carlton. We (my husband and I) are retired militay. He served in the Air Force for 25 years. We have always done community service. So, when we got ready to retire, we found a place we wanted to live and bought a home. Well, the town we lived in has/had a high kill shelter. This broke our hearts.
Around this same time, I met a lady who fostered for Friends of Homeless Animals, RI. One day I got a call from FOHA there was a poodle in our shelter and he was on the short list. I went and pulled him. Roie (FOHA), helped set me up to foster and list our orphans to adopt with families who really wanted them. I am not sure how long ago it was, 16-18 years, I think. The rest is history. Through them and Mountain Pet Rescue, CO (and a few others in CO, UT, IA, IL, OR, CA, MS...), we have placed over 2500 dogs/ puppies and cats.
