Max and Joyce are an adorable pair of kitties who were brought to the HSOV on December 31, 2025 along with their four companions/housemates (Dustin, Erica, Hopper, and Robin). Unfortunately the individual(s) who left them in our care did not provide any information about them ..
Max is pictured on the left. She has a white-and-buff tabby short smooth coat, a long ringed tail, and a beautiful symmetrically-marked face with golden/bronze eyes, a pink nose, and long white whiskers.
Joyce is pictured on the right. She has an orange/white/brown short smooth coat in a calico pattern, a long ringed tail, and a beautifully-marked calico face with golden/bronze eyes, a pink nose, and long white whiskers.
Max and Joyce were given vaccinations, Pyrantel wormer and flea treatment on December 31, 2025. They were given booster vaccines on January 14, 2026.
These best friends have shared a large cage from the first day the came to our shelter and provide comfort/security for each other. Max has become the more outgoing of the pair and seems to have assumed the role of 'big sister'/protector. Joyce is the more shy of the duo .. And both are very sweet and friendly.
These updated photos of Max and Joyce were taken on February 7, 2026, and it melted our hearts to see them posing close together and loving one another.
Max and Joyce were both spayed on February 9th 2026 and were also given rabies vaccine. Max weighed 7.13 lbs that day while Joyce weighed 5.2 lbs.
These little sweethearts are ready to find a loving home with a special someone. Naturally we'd love to see these best friends adopted together, so they are being listed as a bonded pair.
