At Tabby`s Place we believe all cats are unique. Whoever you are, there is a cat here for anyone looking for a companion: introvert or extrovert, old or young; whatever you seek in a friend you will surely find in one of our sanctuary cats. Each of our cats has something to offer the right person. Then every once in a while a Jamison comes along – a truly special cat on which we can all agree!
There is something so distinctive about Jamison. You can tell even just by looking at him. His eyes sit on his face in a way that`s somehow more proportionately human than cat and gives him the appearance of a fine, distinguished gentleman who looks as if he`d like to tip his hat to you. Since he has no hat to tip he will do the next best thing when you enter his suite and that is to immediately come greet you with a welcoming meow and flop before you. Jamison is a cat of the people and for the people. This friendly, affectionate tabby wants to meet you, be near you, and to give and get all of the cuddles with you. He is so easygoing that he even loves to be held like a baby, which is such a treat (for both human and kitty alike)! He is a sweet boy who is just waiting for his forever lap, but will patiently take any lap on offer in the meantime. There is room in that big open heart for all of us.
Jamison has tested positive for Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV), which suppresses his immune system and can be contagious to other kitties. Due to his FeLV+ status, he would have to be the solo kitty in your home or live with other FeLV+ cats - and he would be just fine with either!
Are your arms empty and in need of a loving lap cat who just wants to be held like a little baby? Fill out an adoption questionnaire today!

For an adoption fee of $150, you will take home a cat that has received the very best medical care and evaluation. Every cat that leaves Tabby’s Place has been thoroughly examined by a veterinarian, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, tested for FeLV and FIV, and treated for parasites.
We are currently offering two methods of adoption meetings:
1. Adopters can meet cats in person between 2-5PM daily. Appointments are strongly recommended, but we will make every effort to accommodate walk-ins where possible. Most cats and some select kittens are available for in-person meetings.
2. Adopters can meet cats and kittens via video meeting between 10:00AM-5:00PM daily by appointment only and subject to availability. Kittens in foster homes are only available for video adoption meetings.
Get started now by completing our online application. One or our adoption counselors will then contact you within 48 hours.
