Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Tux and Bandit, a bonded pair of sweet brothers looking for a loving home together. These handsome boys can be a bit shy and fearful at first, so they’ll need some patience and time to settle in and feel safe in their new environment. Tux and Bandit have previously lived with other cats and children and have done well. With slow, thoughtful introductions and a calm approach that respects their shy nature, they have the potential to adjust beautifully again. These special boys are also polydactyl babies (they have extra toes!), which just adds to their charm. Because of their extra toes, they will need regular and frequent nail trims to keep their paws healthy and comfortable. Once they become comfortable and secure, their true personalities shine through, they are incredibly sweet and loving boys who just need a little extra understanding at the start. Watching them grow in confidence and open up is truly rewarding. If you can offer patience, kindness, and a safe space for them to blossom, Tux and Bandit will repay you with so much love. 💛

The first step in our adoption process is to submit an adopter profile through our website. We then encourage you to visit PARL at 34 Elbow Street and get to know the animals we have available. You do not need an appointment, and we invite you to visit us often. PARL’s goal is to assist you in finding your best match for a lifelong companion.
When you arrive, you’ll sign PARL’s visitor log, and staff will direct you to PARL’s cat rooms, small animal spaces, or dog kennels (depending on your preference.) We encourage you to spend time outside with the dogs, or petting our cats and small animals. Please ask questions -- that's why we're here.
If you don't find what you are looking for the first time, please come see us again! Chances are that we will have some new furry friends available for adoption, and one of them might be purr-fect for you!
