Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Mister!
Mister is a very special senior cat that PARL staff are head over heels for. Mister is about 15 years old and came to PARL after his owner passed away. He has lived with a dog in the past and done well, and although he has no experience living with cats, he may also do well with slow introductions.
At 15 years old, Mister does have some medical needs. He is currently on a weight-loss journey due to being overweight and must stay on his prescription renal wet food. The renal food is to help his precious kidneys. Mister was also declawed before coming to PARL, so pain management and weight loss are key to keeping this boy happy and healthy. Due to his large size, Mister will also need a large, low-sided litter box so he can comfortably use the bathroom.
Mister is lazy but does enjoy playing with toys and will swat at a wand toy. He is a very loving cat who demands lots of pets and brushing.
Mister has the most beautiful large green eyes, purrs like a madman, and will even make biscuits while you give him chin scratches.
Whoever adopts Mister will be incredibly lucky, and everyone at PARL will be very jealous of whoever gets to take this boy home.

The first step in our adoption process is to submit an adopter profile through our website. We then encourage you to visit PARL at 34 Elbow Street and get to know the animals we have available. You do not need an appointment, and we invite you to visit us often. PARL’s goal is to assist you in finding your best match for a lifelong companion.
When you arrive, you’ll sign PARL’s visitor log, and staff will direct you to PARL’s cat rooms, small animal spaces, or dog kennels (depending on your preference.) We encourage you to spend time outside with the dogs, or petting our cats and small animals. Please ask questions -- that's why we're here.
If you don't find what you are looking for the first time, please come see us again! Chances are that we will have some new furry friends available for adoption, and one of them might be purr-fect for you!
