My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Mimi, a stunning 10-month-old orange shorthair with a personality as vibrant as her coat! Mimi is a complex, charming girl looking for a kingdom to call her own.

Thanks to a generous sponsorship by CBD American Shaman, Mimi's adoption fee is fully covered ($0), meaning you can focus all your resources on spoiling this ginger queen.

Mimi is the ultimate "best of both worlds" cat. She is a self-proclaimed cuddle-bug who loves to be near her people, but she also values her independence. Whether she's having a "big chat" with you (she's quite the vocal lady!) or quietly observing the world, she brings a wonderful energy to the home.

The Window Watcher: Her absolute favorite pastime is perched atop her cat tree, bird-watching and soaking up the sun.

Playful Spirit: She has a youthful, active streak and loves to engage in feline gymnastics. She does have a "spicy" side to her play-expect some playful nips and swats when she's feeling feisty!

Sweet & Sensitive: While she can be a bit shy or skittish in new environments, once she feels safe, her calm, affectionate side truly shines.

Mimi knows what she likes, and what she likes is being the center of your universe. To help her thrive and keep her stress levels low, she requires a specific setup:

No Dogs Please: Mimi has made it clear that she is not a "dog person." She prefers a canine-free environment where she doesn't feel the need to defend her turf.

Solo Queen (or specific company): While she has historically struggled with female cats due to her dominant nature, she has previously enjoyed the company of a submissive male cat. However, to ensure her transition is as smooth as possible, her previous owners recommend she be the only pet in the household.
