Once upon a time, a 7-year-old, 18-pound Miniature Poodle named Jax was ready to leave his past behind and find his happily ever after. This handsome little gentleman may be small, but his heart is royal-sized.
Jax walks beautifully on a leash (a proper prince has manners, after all!) and is crate trained. He gets along well with other dogs, does fine with cats, and is kind with kids.
As a breeder surrender, Jax is still learning that the world can be a safe and loving place. He may take a little time to warm up (faster with women than men), and he’s still polishing his house-training skills, but with patience and kindness, he blossoms more each day.
Jax truly benefits from canine companionship. While he doesn’t require someone who works from home, he would do best in a home with another friendly dog to provide comfort and confidence. Having a buddy helps him feel secure and supported.
