Moonpie is a special girl, she is ORANGE! I don't know if you know this, but most orange cats are male, and known to be quite silly. Moonpie is more serious than her male counterparts but is the sweetest orange cat ever! With some white spots and belly (that she loves having rubbed) she is gorgeous and soft as can be. And she loves to purr! It may be quiet but she purrs almost constantly, especially when she gets to nap in the sunshine and watch the pigeons roosting on the window.
Moonpie does well with other female cats (she isn't a huge fan of males but can co-exist) but is also ok being your one and only cat too. She loves her swan blankie more than anything else and will come over for blankie snuggles and pets any chance she can get!
Moonpie didn't end up with the family she deserved and they unfortunately had her front paws declawed. She does well having them touched but may have issues with certain types of litter or textures (She currently has no issues using her clay litter). Moonpie is also a bit overweight at the moment but is in process of getting back down to being a healthy girl! Lots of play time has been key!
At almost 6 years old Moonpie is right back where she started looking for a furever home that will treat her as the precious girl she is. Are you looking for a big orange girl who just wants to snuggle the day away? Then Moonpie is your girl!
