I’m a handsome long-haired tabby and white gentleman who came to the shelter as a stray. I’ve learned one very important thing about myself since being here — outdoor life just isn’t for me. I much prefer the comforts of being safe, cozy, and loved.
It didn’t take me long to show everyone who I really am. I absolutely adore attention and snuggles, and I’m not shy about asking for them! I’ll happily rub up against you to let you know it’s time for pets (and honestly, it’s almost always time for pets). If you’re looking for a cat who truly wants to be close to his people, I’m your guy.
Toys haven’t impressed me very much — I’d much rather spend that time soaking up affection instead of chasing something around. I do enjoy being brushed, though, which is perfect since I have all this gorgeous long fur to keep looking its best. Brushing time just feels like another excuse for us to bond.
I’m microchipped, neutered, and vaccinated, so I’m all set and ready to head to my forever home. All I need now is a loving person (or family) who wants a devoted, affectionate companion to snuggle with.

Before you are eligible to adopt any animal from Border Paws Animal Shelter, you must complete our Adoption Application, and must be approved as an adopter.
To complete an adoption you must:
be a pre-approved adopter
be at least 18 years of age
visit the shelter to meet the animals
provide at least one piece of photo identification with current address
Applications are reviewed within 48 hours. If approved, our Kennel Coordinator will contact you to set up a time to introduce you to any animals that may best suit what you are looking for, or the animal you've requested a visit with.
All dogs, cats, puppies and kittens available for adoption have
been spayed or neutered
received at least one set of vaccines
received a microchip for identification
