Meet Toast
Toast is a 10-month-old boy who is very cautious and naturally shy. The world can feel a little big and overwhelming to him, so he prefers to take things slowly and observe from a safe distance before deciding you’re trustworthy.
He will need a patient, understanding home that respects his boundaries and gives him the time he needs to feel secure. Toast isn’t the type to rush up for attention, but once he feels safe, he gently leans into pets and quietly enjoys affection. Earning his trust is a gradual process, but it’s deeply rewarding.
Because of his sensitive and timid personality, Toast would do best in a calm, quiet home without rowdy children or dogs. He feels most comfortable with his brother, Chai, and would thrive if adopted together. But applications just for Toast will also be considered.
Toast is looking for someone willing to move at his pace, celebrate small victories, and offer steady reassurance. With patience and love, he will blossom into a sweet boy.
