My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello! I am Pickle! I am a sweet but shy kitty looking for my new home. I do not like being picked up and carried so I need to have a home without children under 12. I LOVE head scratches and getting nice pet massages, I can sit there all day and let you pet me! I get so happy sometimes that I also make some biscuits! Even though I am shy I know that with the right family I can become the confident cat I know I can be! I look forward to meeting you!

This cat tested positive for FIV.
FIV-positive cats do not inherently have a shorter lifespan; studies show they can often live as long as uninfected cats. While the virus weakens a cat`s immune system, making it more vulnerable to secondary infections, proper care—including a good diet, regular vet check-ups, and a low-stress, indoor-only environment—allows many FIV-positive cats to have a normal, healthy life.
