Nico is an amazing little house panther!! This handsome black kitty has it all- he is affectionate, playful, confident and full of personality. When I visited him, Nico was thrilled to have a new human admirer. He was also friendly and playful with his feline roommates. Nico looks like a British Bombay cat. Take a look at his soft, jet black coat with auburn tones that glow in the sun, and his eyes which often have a unique blue/green tone. Such a rare beauty! And what a lovely, endearing personality.
Update from Nico’s foster mom: My family has really enjoyed spending time with social boy Nico. He greets us at the door, stretches out gracefully, and then he’s ready for action, whether we are playing or snuggling. Nico’s signature move is to tuck his head and roll onto his back, inviting us to pet his soft tummy. He continues to roll and purr, such a happy boy. Nico is very easy, relaxed company. He will form a close bond with his special people.
More observations about adorable Nico: Nico warms up quickly to new people and new environments. His playful nature comes out as he plays with a wand toy, laser pointer or tennis ball. He will be your best couch companion while you work or watch TV with him. He loves to watch sports! Nico enjoys a good window view, so he would really appreciate a cat tree. He also loves to drink from a cat water fountain. Nico loves to be brushed and he is fine with having his claws clipped.

Submit Application
People can view our cats on-line and can see some of them in the adoption centers. An application can be for a particular cat or a TBD.
Approve Application
Processing takes about 3-5 business days. Upon approval, a meet & great and/or adoption will be arranged.
Meet the Pet
An approved app is needed to meet cats that are with fosters & in our clinic/shelters and may be needed to meet adoption center cats.
Sign Adoption Contract
The adoption counselor will review the paperwork and the medical form with the adopter. This is a good time to ask questions before signing.
Pay Fee
Adoption fees are based upon the age of the cat - kitten, adult, 7+ yrs. - how many cats are being adopted and special needs cats.
Take the Pet Home
An adopted pet must be taken home in a carrier. If there are other pets at home, please give them a slow intro period of about 2 weeks.
