My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Crumble is a three-year-old cat with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He came to us from a hoarding situation in Mauston involving a surplus of belongings and a large number of cats. Working alongside the Juneau County Sheriff’s Office, we now have official custody of Crumble and the other cats.

Despite his difficult start, Crumble has proven to be incredibly loving. He absolutely adores pets and will happily lean into head rubs, soaking up every bit of affection you’re willing to give. He’s expressive, engaging, and not shy about asking for attention.

Crumble does great with other cats and would thrive in a home where he can have feline companions and plenty of human interaction. He’s the kind of cat who wants to be part of your daily life — whether that’s relaxing on the couch or greeting you when you walk through the door.

If you’re looking for a confident, affectionate companion who isn’t afraid to show his love, Crumble might just be your perfect match.

All of our cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccines. If you’re ready to give Crumble the safe and loving home he deserves, please fill out an application on our website. https://www.sftsrescue.org/adoptable-dogs

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process prioritizes accessibility, equality, and inclusivity. An application can be completed online or in person, ensuring accessibility for all potential adopters. Additionally, our application is available in Spanish to cater to a diverse range of applicants.

Once an application is submitted and approved, we facilitate adoption meet-and-greets on-site at our shelter's adoption center. This allows potential adopters to interact with the animals they are interested in and make informed decisions about their adoption.

Overall, our adoption program is designed to make the process as smooth and inclusive as possible, ensuring that each animal finds a loving and permanent home.
