Do you want a constant snuggle buddy who will curl up in your lap and look fabulous doing it? Then King Arthur is going to be your new bestie!
This adorable love bug is a perfect cuddle companion. And his biscuit making skills are second to none. He especially loves long lap sits where he can stretch out and get belly pets. The real kind, too - not the “ha, now I’ll bite your hand” kind.
Arthur isn’t super excited about toys, but gets so excited about catnip on his scratcher and has chased a feather wand a few times. He has the cutest, softest meow greeting.
While he’s not currently in a mixed space with other cats or pets, he can see his neighbor cat and seems to like watching her play. We also think he may do well with cat savvy kids because he’s so affectionate, plus he came from an area with many other outdoor cats. Overall this boy is very sweet, calm, and easy (he doesn’t even mind the evil vacuum). He enjoys getting brushed, taking naps, and loves Churu treats!
King Arthur is estimated to be almost five years old. He is neutered, microchipped, flea treated, dewormed, and has tested FIV negative, FeLV+ (progressive).
FeLV doesn't currently affect King Arthur's daily life much; however, the FeLV virus is likely to eventually affect his health and lifespan, as FeLV impairs the cat's immune system. Becoming established with a vet supportive of treating an FeLV+ cat, controlling secondary infections, and treating other illnesses as they arise is essential to maintaining an FeLV+ kitty.

Additional adoption info
We try to do our best to make sure we find good fitting, responsible homes, without wasting a lot of our time. Our app has a lot of screening questions which help eliminate potential adopters who might not be serious (they usually just don't return the app), or not a good fit, which is why the in depth interview happens once the app is returned.

We are a small but dedicated 501c3 nonprofit cat rescue specializing in making one person's garbage kitten another person's forever cat.
Our mission is to reduce feline suffering and overpopulation using a combination of TNR and adoptions. We foster and socialize whenever we have the resources to do so, including behavioral cats and kittens who might otherwise just be candidates for TNR.
