I'm Matilda Tortie, but I like to be called Tillie. I'm new to Magicats, rescued and put in a wonderful Magicats foster home when I found myself alone and seriously unkempt. The vet found two bad sores under my "arms" that needed surgery to fix and (ugh) a cone. But I was a good patient and have healed beautifully. It's great to feel good again, and ready for a REAL Forever Home this time. Note that I am "gorgeous" if I do say so myself, with long, loud colored hair and tortie good looks. I hope my new people will care enough to help me keep it perfectly groomed. I'm a retired mom. No kittens, please. Been there, done that, full stop. I enjoy polite cats. I'm well- mannered, courteous, cheerful, and good company, and enjoy helping around the house. I like adult people, a quiet home, with well mannered, cat-experienced older children or young adults. A sunny window, friendly lap, regular meals, good conversation, with a cat tree perch the cherry on top. Not sure about dogs, but if they're polite, it would prob'ly be okay. We require a signed application that is reviewed by our volunteers.
Adopter must agree that the pet will be Inside Only and must have permission from their landlord if they are renting.
Before adoption all of our pets are thoroughly examined by one of our vets. They have received a rabies shot, series of vaccinations, tested negative for FIV/FELV and are always spayed or neutered.

We are a small and devoted group of volunteers who started this organization in 2010. Our goal is to find homes for as many cats and kittens as we are physically and financially able to do. We have no facility and all of our pets are cared for in loving foster homes. We do as much as we can with the funds from adoption fees, donations and contributions from all of our volunteers.
