My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Misty — the playful little shadow of her sister, Gaia (affectionately called Graycie)! 🩶✨

Misty is an energetic, fun-loving kitten who plays hard and loves even harder. Whether she’s chasing laser lights, pouncing on feather wands, or batting around balls with bells, this girl is always ready for action. She does great with other kittens and thrives in a lively environment where she has a playmate to keep her busy.

Misty is especially bonded to her sister Graycie, and the two make an absolutely wonderful active pair. They wrestle, play, and cuddle together, and Misty truly blossoms when she has feline companionship. In fact, she gets very lonely if left by herself and will cry for attention — she just wants to be near her people (or her sister!).

This sweet girl LOVES attention and affection and will happily soak up all the love you’re willing to give. Because of her social and affectionate nature, Misty will do best in a home with another cat — ideally her sister Graycie — where she can continue to feel safe, happy, and entertained.

If you’re looking for a playful, affectionate kitten (or the perfect dynamic duo!), Misty and Graycie will fill your home with fun, love, and endless kitten antics. 🐾💕
The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, FIV/FeLV combo test, dewormer, flea treatment, age appropriate vaccines, and microchip. Adoption application

Go meet their pets

All of our cats are cared for in devoted foster homes.

When adoptable, most go to PetSmart on Feedwire Rd in Centerville or to PetSmart on Miamisburg-Centerville Rd by the Dayton Mall. Their bio will indicate where they're located, and if they're in a PetSmart, you can go to meet them.

If they're in a foster home, we are happy to arrange a meeting with an approved application.

More about this rescue

We are a no kill, foster-based rescue in Dayton, OH, that specializes in taking the most at risk cats and kittens from our local community. Many of our cats come in as strays and we provide them with all necessary vetting to get them adoption ready. Until then, they live with us in our homes where they receive dedicated attention and care.

We are all volunteers who live and work in your local community!

We have a motto that we live by: It Takes a Village! And that village always needs new members, so please consider donating to, adopting from, or simply sharing our cause.
