My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Goose — the sweet, snuggly little gentleman of the trio! 🩵🐾

Brother to Gaia (Graycie) and Misty, Goose is the perfect mix of playful and affectionate. He can absolutely hold his own wrestling with his sisters and chasing toys, but when it comes to cuddle time, he is always first in line. Goose has zero respect for personal space — and we mean that in the best way possible! His favorite place to be is up by your neck, close to your face, or stretched out happily in your lap. If you sit down, he considers that an invitation.

His purr starts instantly — sometimes before you even pick him up — and it is LOUD. This boy doesn’t just purr… he rumbles with happiness. He truly thrives on being near his people and will seek you out for love and attention.

Like his sisters, Goose is playful and active, enjoys toys and wrestling sessions, and appreciates a good serving of wet food. He is also wonderful with children and is especially patient and gentle when they hold him — making him a fantastic family kitten.

If you’re looking for a kitten who will play hard, love harder, and happily become your tiny shadow, Goose is ready to claim a spot right by your heart (and your shoulder!). 🐾💕

The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, FIV/FeLV combo test, dewormer, flea treatment, age appropriate vaccines, and microchip. Lifeline Cat Rescue is a private 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization that relies on donations and volunteers. Adoption application

Go meet their pets

All of our cats are cared for in devoted foster homes.

When adoptable, most go to PetSmart on Feedwire Rd in Centerville or to PetSmart on Miamisburg-Centerville Rd by the Dayton Mall. Their bio will indicate where they're located, and if they're in a PetSmart, you can go to meet them.

If they're in a foster home, we are happy to arrange a meeting with an approved application.

More about this rescue

We are a no kill, foster-based rescue in Dayton, OH, that specializes in taking the most at risk cats and kittens from our local community. Many of our cats come in as strays and we provide them with all necessary vetting to get them adoption ready. Until then, they live with us in our homes where they receive dedicated attention and care.

We are all volunteers who live and work in your local community!

We have a motto that we live by: It Takes a Village! And that village always needs new members, so please consider donating to, adopting from, or simply sharing our cause.
