Animal Profile: Dodger is a sweet 4.5 month old, Retreiver/Terrier X (best guess) mixed breed puppy. He was found as strays in Hawaii. We will be welcoming this boy to the Seattle area on 01/07/26 and we will share more about him once he settles into his foster home.
Foster Update: Dodger’s good looks let him get away with a little mischief. It’s hard to get mad at a puppy whose eyes are so gorgeous. His foster mom has taught him how to do walks. He’s a bit tentative at first as there’s so many new things to take in. He’s very friendly with other dog and likes to snuggle. He loves to chew and we’re working on potty training. He hates the rain and can be a little prince when it comes to the weather, but he is adjusting. He’d be amazing for a family with some kid energy. I could see him being best friends with a boy or girl ages 8-16. He wants to be where the action is and has a playful energy. But he can get into trouble if not supervised. Working on crate training and leash training.
Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent visit with a veterinarian. Adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization.
