Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Jax, a friendly and playful kitty with a heart full of love! Jax adores attention and cuddles so much that he’ll happily jump onto your shoulders and snuggle up around your neck, your very own furry scarf. He’s also a devoted lap cat and will happily settle in your lap for snuggles whenever you sit down. Always ready for playtime, he’s full of energy and loves chasing toys, especially when treats are involved, since he’s very treat motivated. Jax gets along well with both cats and dogs, making him a social and adaptable companion. With his playful spirit and affectionate nature, he’s sure to bring endless joy and snuggles to his forever home.
Jax qualifies for Abandoned Pet Rescue’s Medical Adoption Program, which means all of his veterinary care will be provided at Abandoned Pet Rescue for the rest of his life. He takes a pill twice a day to help manage his stomatitis. He makes it very easy to give him his medication since he's loves his treats!

More about this shelter
Abandoned Pet Rescue (APR) is one of the largest no-kill animal shelters in South Florida with the mission of rescuing and sheltering abandoned and abused cats and dogs with the goal of finding them new homes. APR's adoption center has about 150 cats and 30 dogs, all of which receive nutritious meals, veterinary care, enrichment and love.
APR, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, was founded in 1996 by a group of volunteers who were trapping, spaying and neutering feral cats and quickly realized the greater need to help abandoned pets and advocate for a no-kill community. APR is funded solely by generous donors and grants.
