Hi, I’m SpongeBob! Yes, like SpongeBob SquarePants — but I live on land and I promise I won’t turn your house into a pineapple under the sea.

I’m basically the undefeated champion of fetch… especially when it comes to my favorite toy stick. Throw it once, and I’m off like a rocket, bringing it back with pride every single time. I love everyone — dogs, cats, and kids are all my kind of people — and I make friends faster than you can throw my stick.

When playtime is over, I’m happiest snuggled up close to my people, soaking up all the love I can get. I’m equal parts athlete and cuddle expert, and I can’t wait to find my forever home!

We place the dogs in the best home not the first home. Please be patient while we go over all apps and we will be in touch.

We are foster based. You must apply on Crossyourpaws.com first. If your application is chosen as the best fit for the dog we will move forward with the approval process. Once approved you will be setup with a time to meet the dog. Our dogs are all over the greater Pittsburgh area.

Here at Cross Your Paws Rescue, we are driven by a single goal; to save lives. We are doing our part in making the world a better place for all pets. Our decision to start a rescue is not one that we have taken lightly, it has come after years of volunteer work with other groups. Our goal is to make this world a place where starving, abused animals is a thing of the past. That shelters filled with dogs and cats waiting to be euthanized is unheard of. We want euthanasia to be something to help pets on their way to the Rainbow bridge not to end lives because of overpopulation. We vow to save every life that we can.
