Izzy came to us as a stray on 2/22/26, and we’re estimating she’s about 2 years old. What we can confirm is that she is 100% beautiful… and approximately 78% sure how to dog.
Let’s address the elephant in the room:
Her head looks like it politely stopped growing at about 4 months old. It’s like her body said, “We’re maturing,” and her head said, “No thanks, I’m baby.”
Her eyes? Slightly crossed.
Her vibe? Mildly bewildered but deeply committed.
And honestly? It’s iconic.

Did you know... The Richland County Dog Warden's Office & Adoption Center is self-funded and does not receive any tax paying dollars. Our revenue comes from dog license fees, adoptions, impound fees, and YOUR donations. You can send Donations by check or money order to the shelter: 810 N. Home Rd. Mansfield, Ohio 44906.
The shelter always accepts cash donations. However, there are always other things we need too. You can call it a wish list: Bleach, laundry detergent, Capstar flea tablets, Advantage flea drops, pet shampoo,Paper Towels, and sturdy collars and leashes for our dogs here at the facility and those going on transport to rescue.
