My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sweet Baby Ray is currently living at Chicago Canine Rescue in the shelter. Please head over to our website (chicagocaninerescue.org) to fill out a quick adoption survey to learn more and schedule an intro.

Sweet Baby Ray is:
Neutered/Spayed: Almost! She is scheduled to be spayed on 3/5/26.
Up to date on vaccines: She is still receiving the core puppy vaccine series and will need one additional vaccine to reach full immunization.
Microchipped: Yes! Our microchips will automatically register when an adoption is finalized

More about Sweet Baby Ray:
Housebroken: Working on it! Because of her young age, she will need frequent potty breaks in her new home.
Crate trained: Working on it!
Leash walking: They are still new to leash walking, as a young pup, so will need to keep working on this!
Dog social: Yes!
Cat social: Unknown
Kid friendly: Unknown, but we suspect they`d do well with respectful kids, given their young age

Sweet Baby Ray likes:
- Exploring!
- Playtime!
- Cuddle time!

Sweet Baby Ray is a precious little pup who recently arrived from our Kentucky rescue partner. She is playful and fun, and loves to romp around with her puppy friends! She is still learning all about the big new world around her, and would love an adopter who is ready for all the stages that puppyhood and being an adolescent brings.

Sweet Baby Ray`s adoption fee is $400, and this little pup is excited to grow up in her forever home!

More about this shelter

CCRF was founded in 2001 to help find permanent, loving homes for homeless dogs in our city. In just over seven years, CCRF has saved the lives of over 2,000 dogs, cats, kittens and puppies.

CCRF now assists the animals that are the MOST vulnerable in Midwest - the dogs and cats that are slated for euthanasia because they are too old, too young, injured, have disabilities, or have simply been overlooked for too long by potential adopters at other shelters.
