Meet Cooper! Cooper is a 2-year-old domestic short hair with a thoughtful approach to life. He prefers to take his time getting to know new people, but with a few treats, some wet food, and a properly arranged comfy blanket, he’s more than willing to consider friendship. While toys don’t particularly impress him, Cooper is very interested in quality time. Once he’s decided you’re one of his people, he’s happiest simply being nearby — sharing quiet moments, keeping you company, and enjoying the comfort of a calm routine. Cooper would do best in a patient home that understands that trust is something special. Our adoption fee is $150.00 for dogs, $75 for kittens under 6 months of age and $50 for all cats 6 months and older. This will include a rabies vaccination (if age appropriate), spay or neuter, a microchip with registration, and all other age appropriate vaccinations.

We are the all admittance shelter in Johnson County, we are not a 501c3, but a county run facility. We try our best to place each and every animal. We also house all animals picked up by Animal Control therefore; we intake a high volume of animals each year.
