Hi! I’m Chesterfield — a big orange boy with an even bigger heart.

I’m a total lap lover, and nothing makes me happier than pets and attention. The more you cuddle me, the better! If you stop petting me too soon, I might give you a gentle little nibble — that’s just my classic orange boy way of saying, “Please don’t stop!” 😉

I’m an indoor-only gentleman and a litter box pro. While I weigh 13+ pounds, I’m not much of a foodie — I’m more of an attention eater. Love is my favorite treat!

Submit Application

Whether you're interested in a specific pet or not, fill out our application online at houstonpetsalive.org.

2.
Meet the Pet

Once your application is approved, a meet and greet will be set up between you and your pet of interest.

3.
Sign Adoption Contract

If the meet and greet goes well and your adoption application is approved, you will sign the adoption contract.

4.
Pay Fee

Once the adoption contract is signed, you will pay the adoption fee.

5.
Take the Pet Home

Bring your new best friend home! Remember that it will take some time for him/her to adjust to their new environment.
