My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Burma – a gentle heart waiting to feel safe

Burma is a beautiful black and white girl with the most adorable pink nose you’ve ever seen. One look at her sweet face and you can tell she’s special.

Burma came from a hoarding situation where she was living in less than ideal conditions. Everything familiar was suddenly taken away, and the shelter environment has been overwhelming for her. While she is incredibly sweet at heart, she is also very scared right now. The noise and constant activity make it hard for her to relax and show her true self.

But underneath that fear is a tender, loving girl who just needs time.

Burma is looking for a quiet, patient, and understanding home — one that will allow her to settle in at her own pace. She may not be the cat who runs up to greet you on day one, but with gentle voices, slow movements, and consistent kindness, she has the potential to blossom beautifully. Watching a shy cat learn to trust is one of the most rewarding experiences there is.

She doesn’t need perfection — just patience. A calm home, a cozy hiding spot, and someone willing to let her move forward on her own timeline will mean everything to her.

If you have a soft spot for the underdog and a peaceful home to offer, Burma is waiting for someone to show her that the world can be safe and loving.
