Meet Sunny

Sunny is a very handsome adult gentleman with a sweet nature and a lot to say. He’s affectionate, friendly, and wonderfully vocal — the kind of cat who enjoys chatting with his people and being part of daily life.

Like many sensitive, intelligent cats, Sunny thrives when he has healthy outlets for his energy and curiosity. The shelter environment—while full of caring people—can be overwhelming, with limited space and stimulation. During times of stress, Sunny began chewing at his tail, and under veterinary guidance, a portion of his tail was ultimately removed. He’s now healing beautifully and adjusting well.

Sunny will thrive in a home that offers regular play sessions, engaging enrichment, and cozy places to climb and scratch — such as a cat tree with a sturdy scratch post. He also enjoys calming, focused activities like a frozen lick pad with his favorite wet food or Churu treats, which can help him settle and relax after playtime.
