Tex arrived at FDHS with his brother Chet (also available) and is just starting to settle in. This handsome young Shepherd mix is full of puppy charm, big ears, and an adorable case of the wiggles. He’s still figuring out the whole shelter thing, but his sweet and very silly personality is already shining through.
Tex is a smart pup who seems eager to learn and very happy to accept a few treats along the way. Like most young dogs, he will likely need a little help polishing up his manners, but he has the kind of attitude that will make training fun and rewarding. So far, Tex has been friendly with our staff and seems interested in the other dogs around the shelter. He’s still pretty new here, so we’re continuing to learn more about him each day.

*Vet reference- will call vet and verify you are a client
*Current pets- must be up to date on vaccinations
*If renting- will contact landlord to verify can have pets
