Meet Pepper. Pepper is a tiny bundle of love with a big personality!
This sweet girl purrs nonstop the moment you look her way and will happily curl up in your arms (or on your head) for hours of super cuddly snuggles. She’s also quite the little conversationalist — Pepper loves to “talk” and will chat with you about her day, toys, food, and how much she adores you.
Before her rescue, Pepper was living outside in the middle of a cold Michigan winter, but you’d never know it from her sunny spirit. She hasn’t let her rough start dim her shine — with time and patience, she is an incredibly friendly, trusting cat who is ready to soak up all the love of her forever home.
When she’s not snuggling with you all night long, Pepper is all about playtime! She adores batting around toys, chasing anything that moves, including her own tail, and showing off her adorable kitten zoomies.
Pepper has grown up around cats, and with time, she will fit right in with her newest playmates. She is expected to be good with dogs and kids, too.

Peace Love and Paws Rescue is an all-volunteer, non-profit, animal welfare organization dedicated to the rescue and placement of stray, neglected and abused animals. Peace Love and Paws Rescue is completely funded through fundraising efforts and public donations. All of our pets are cared for by foster homes and receive complete medical care, which includes worming, vaccinations, spaying/neutering and microchipping prior to their adoption.
This questionnaire is designed to help Peace Love and Paws Rescue determine if a specific dog is the right match for you and your household. All adopting and fostering parties are required to complete this form prior to adoption. Peace Love and Paws Rescue reserves the right to deny any adoption or fostering based on answers to this questionnaire and/or interviews prior to adoptions and placing foster homes!

We are three passionate, animal loving dog moms who met through various volunteer efforts at local rescues in the Detroit area. We continued talking outside of volunteering and quickly came to realize that we all had similar goals, to help as many animals in need that we possibly could. In the Detroit area, there are so many animals who need homes, medical attention, and love.
We decided that we wanted to be able to do more to help these animals. We are raising funds through selling merchandise, fundraising, donations, and supporting local community events. All funds raised will be used to establish a nonprofit status, fund the medical needs of local dogs, and find shelter animals their furever home.
Follow us on our journey to create a rescue that provides animals the love and care they need while they find their home. We will post updates on our social media of the dogs we are able to help and how your support made a difference.
