My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Francis - but his friends call him Frank. Frank is a distiguished black-cat gentleman who carries himself with the quiet confidence of someone who absolutely knows he looks good in every lighting condition. He's a connoisseur of the finer things in life: bird watching from the window, enthusiastically testing every toy in the house for quality assurance purposes, and offering emotional support to his shy sister, Bean.

Frank takes his role as Head of Household Activities very seriously. If a toy exists, Frank will play with it. If a bird flies by, Frank will observe it with the focus of a wildlife documentarian. And if Bean is feeling a little unsure of the world, Frank is right there beside her like the loyal big brother he is - providing reassurance, companionship, and the occasional reminder that toys are actually very fun.

Because of their adorable partnership, Frank and Bean are a bonded duo, which means they are looking to be adopted together. Think of it as a two-for-one-special on charm: Frank brings the confidence, Bean brings the sweetness, and together they form a perfectly balanced household management team.

If you're looking for a distinguished gentleman, a loyal sidekick, and twice the feline companionship, Francis and Bean are ready to move in and run your living room with grace, dignity, and the occasional toy-related chaos.

More about this shelter

Founded in 1941 by the third female graduate from Cornell University’s College of Veterinary Medicine, SAVE is an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit animal shelter dedicated to protecting the health and welfare of homeless companion animals in the greater Princeton area and beyond. Through six core programs of Rescue, Shelter, Health and Welfare, Spay/Neuter, Foster and Adoption.

The SAVE shelter facility has the capacity to house upwards of 100 animals at a time (approximately 75 cats and 25 dogs). The shelter exceeds no-kill benchmark standards and ensures that adoptable animals facing adversity are given a lifeline, a chance to flourish, and the promise of a better tomorrow.
