Hello! My name is Tortellini, I am a 3 year old red footed tortoise who is still growing to my full size. As a tortoise from the tropics, I love my space to be nice, warm and humid, especially when residing here in the bay area cold temperatures. I would love to have a 10 x 10 ft space to explore, dig, and to have a bath to soak in. I would do great in a green house or with a hut equipped with some heating. I can grow up to be about 16 inches long and can live for over 50+ years, so I would need to go home to a family that can spend as much time with me until my golden years. You may call us at 650-340-7022 to schedule an appointment, or just drop by. Drop-In hours for Same Day Adoptions are 11 am – 5 pm, 7 days a week (closed major holidays).
We do our best to update our listings regularly, but we can’t guarantee every animal you see is still available. It’s also typical for us to have animals who haven’t had their photos taken yet, so you are welcome to visit our adoption center and have a look around!
To check on an animal's adoption status, please call 650-340-7022 during normal business hours to speak with an adoption counselor. Emails will be returned as soon as possible, but please allow up to 48 hours during busy adoption periods like weekends.
