Here's what the humans have to say about me:
'Monkey' would be a more appropriate name for Otter, being the avid climber that he is! Otter loves climbing so much that he went straight for the scratching post the moment he came to his foster home. The pant legs of jeans aren't safe from Otter either - he'll climb anything he can get his paws on!
When he's not trying to climb some new thing, Otter loves playing and being an affectionate little goofball. Otter is often playing with his siblings, and when he's in the mood for cuddles, he'll give you a little meow-chirp when he's looking for love and pets.
Otter can also be found investigating holes and small spaces he can crawl into and curl up. Baskets full of old sweaters that smell like his people are some of his favorite napping places.
Otter isn't looking for much in his forever home, but he will definitely need a vertical climbing post of some kind to keep his boredom at bay! He's super curious and quite the explorer, so he will do great with some challenges thrown his way. Otter loves his siblings, so he would do well in a home with other cats, or better yet, be adopted with one of his siblings! He would also probably do well with dogs and other pets. He's just an all around great little kitty that will do well in almost any home!
All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
For further information or to meet Otter, please email adopt@austinpetsalive.org.
