My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cuddly, Affectionate, Extravert

Falling asleep beside her human companions with a purr, Octopus is an affectionate kitty who loves to be with her people! After getting a “meow” of approval from this diva, Octopus is down for a good snuggle session with her human friends!

Circling your legs when you’re in the kitchen, Octopus is one food motivated kitty! This sweet girl is one food connoisseur, meowing beside her human companion’s feet to let you know she’d love a bite!

Oftentimes, Octopus can be found lounging with her best bud, Otter. Octopus was brought to Austin Pets Alive with her kitty friend, Otter, and has grown deeply bonded to him. Oftentimes, these two can be found snuggling and grooming each other, as they rely on one another for comfort and support. These two share a beautiful bond, as they are truly connected to one another. For these reasons, Octopus and Otter are considered a bonded pair, meaning that the two of them are to be adopted together. To learn more about Otter, search the link below, and thank you for considering adopting these two! https://tinyurl.com/mr4ajue4

During her time at her foster home, Octopus has been exposed to dogs and even children, and has shown certain comfort levels with them. So, if taught proper kitty etiquette and if given enough time to properly acclimate, Octopus may be comfortable living with kids and dogs.

When it comes to her ideal home, Octopus would thrive in a quiet environment with human companions who understand that although she loves attention, simply coexisting with her human friends makes this little one happy, as well!

If your ideal Saturday includes curling up on the couch with a little lovebug glued to your side, Octopus might be your purr-fect match!

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
