My name is Kody 2026!

Meet KODY, a cocker spaniel so stunning he looks like a stuffed animal! But he's very very realy. Kody is a very sweet pup who was purchased from a pet store (sigh). His mom recently received a devastating health diagnosis and he was in urgent need of rescue. Kody is 10 months old, born May 3, 2025 (he's a Taurus). He's fully grown at 24 pounds. Kody is a sweet, affectionate boy, a little timid when meeting new people and in new situations. Kody has been living as an only dog but was so happy to meet other dogs we think he'd love a playmate. His long lovely locks will require regular grooming, his adopter must be prepared for that expense. If you'd like to meet Kody, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. Our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoptable dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, dewormed and current on flea and tick and heartworm prevention.
