Dusty is a 4.5 month old male gray Maine Coon mix. Dusty was part of a local colony and recently brought inside. Dusty is a shy little guy, but is really starting to come out of his shell. He plays with toys and other kittens now and doesn’t mind being picked up and held. He doesn’t seek out attention on his own yet, but will blossom in time with a loving family of his own.
We do ask that kittens go in pairs unless you have another kitten or young cat at home. You can research single kitten syndrome and adopting kittens in pairs to learn why.
All cats will go home spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, treated for fleas, and tested for FIV and feline leukemia. He has also had a negative fecal test just to be safe!

Five Friends Animal Rescue, Inc. is a foster-based animal welfare organization of volunteers dedicated to rescuing homeless dogs and cats from overcrowded shelters, strays, and owner surrenders. We provide these animals with care and temporary homes until we can place them into their permanent homes. We also serve as a resource to our community by providing information on pet ownership, including resources for spay/neuter and positive behavior training. We believe that no animal should be mistreated and are working towards the day when no companion animal is euthanized for lack of a home.
