Here's what the humans have to say about me:
DOB: 11/16/2022. Loki is a charming cat who absolutely craves your attention and isn't shy about showing it, often stretching out his paws to gently reach for you as if asking for one more pet. He loves being close to his people, following them around and making sure he's always part of whatever's going on.
With his bright eyes and affectionate nature, Loki has a way of making you feel special and needed, especially when he leans in for cuddles or taps your arm for love. His playful clinginess and sweet personality make him impossible to ignore. Loki truly loves connection and affection. Loki doesn't get along very well with other kitties, so he will likely need to be in an only-cat home.

More about this shelter
In 1978 a group of neighbors got together to provide foster homes and find families for the ever-increasing number of stray animals roaming the Tri-Lakes area. As the program grew, it became apparent that a shelter facility was necessary. After ten years of fund raising, the Tri-Lakes Humane Society opened in June, 1988!
We are a no-kill 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides temporary shelter for stray and abandoned animals while seeking to find them permanent homes. We receive no state or local funding and rely solely on public donations.
