My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Aaron Purr

Meet Aaron Purr — a clever, quirky sweetheart with a legendary purr motor. His name is a playful nod to the fact that he was born around the time Disney released Hamilton, and just like his namesake, Aaron has a big personality.

Aaron can be a little randomly skittish at times, but don’t let that fool you — he’s also a total lap lover. Once he settles in, he’ll happily climb onto your lap for ear rubs while he comfortably suckles on a soft blanket, purring the whole time like a tiny engine.

He’s also surprisingly social in his own way. Aaron became a regular guest star in his human’s work-from-home meetings, often appearing during FaceTime-style calls as if he had important business to attend to. If you work from home, you may find yourself with a very attentive feline coworker.

Aaron is a smart cookie, too — he’s figured out how to open lever-style door handles, so he may keep you on your toes! He has always been an indoor cat and is fully litter trained with excellent house manners.

The only thing to note is that Aaron doesn’t tolerate poultry-based wet food, which can give him loose stools, but he does well with other foods and isn’t particularly picky otherwise.

If you’re looking for a lovable, slightly mischievous companion with a huge purr and an even bigger heart, Aaron Purr might be the perfect addition to your home.

We provide all initial wellness care, including vaccines, deworming, checking for mites etc., for each kitten and cat under our care. All cats and kittens available for adoption have been spayed or neutered, microchipped, combo tested and given a rabies vaccine. Our adoption fees also cover lifetime microchip registration. To apply to adopt, please visit our website www.fcocinc.org and click "Adopt" under the cat you're interested in.
