Polly earned her nickname Purr Purr during her very first vet visit—while getting her shots, she started purring the entire time. That pretty much sums up her sweet and gentle personality.
Polly was found outside on a farm and needed a little time to adjust when she first came inside. She spent her first couple of weeks hiding, but once she realized she was safe, her personality began to blossom. Now she loves to hang out wherever the action is and especially enjoys being near her people. Once she’s comfortable, Polly is a devoted little companion who loves sleeping with her humans at night.
This tiny girl is forever kitten-sized at only about 6 pounds, and she has the cutest soft little meow to match her petite frame. Polly is a big fan of pets and rubs and will happily reward you with enthusiastic biscuit-making and lots of purring. She’s also extremely playful (she plays with literally anything she can find) and would thrive in a home with another friendly cat to keep her company.
Polly is currently being fostered with both cats and dogs and does well with both. She isn’t a fan of being picked up, but she absolutely loves affection and will happily soak up all the pets you’re willing to give.
She does have some chronic congestion from her time outside, which sometimes makes her breathing sound a little funny (and she occasionally breathes with her mouth open), but it doesn’t slow her down one bit—she’s a happy, active little girl who loves treats, playtime, and being part of the household.
