My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We are happy to introduce the handsome and fluffy Axel!

This little guy is about 5-6 months old and very sweet and friendly. He was found outside at a local cat colony along with quite a few others we’ve taken in recently.

All of the colony cats were fixed and a bunch of newcomers have started showing up (not fixed or chipped). There was a camper/tent community in the woods not far away and when the sheriffs had them move along, we think all the cats and kittens were left behind to fend for themselves ☹️

Lucky for Axel, he was trapped and came to our rescue. He’s been fixed and vetted and now he’s ready to find his family 🤍

More about this rescue

Five Friends Animal Rescue, Inc. is a foster-based animal welfare organization of volunteers dedicated to rescuing homeless dogs and cats from overcrowded shelters, strays, and owner surrenders. We provide these animals with care and temporary homes until we can place them into their permanent homes. We also serve as a resource to our community by providing information on pet ownership, including resources for spay/neuter and positive behavior training. We believe that no animal should be mistreated and are working towards the day when no companion animal is euthanized for lack of a home.
