Meet Beth!

The Cat Who Is Learning the World Isn't So Scary.

Beth is a 1-year-old domestic shorthair who has come an incredibly long way since arriving in our care in November. She is spayed, vaccinated, and ready to find a patient home! Beth came to us as a feral stray, and trusting people did not come easily to her. When overwhelmed, Beth would panic, sometimes even peeing or defecating out of fear. We knew from the start that earning trust would take time, patience, and kindness.
Day by day, Beth began to show us her true self, a cat who simply needed someone to believe in her! Beth is not a Velcro cat and isn't quite ready to be picked up and cuddled just yet. But if you sit quietly with her, she'll come over for head scratches, and once she really trusts you, she'll even roll over for belly rubs! When she's comfortable, she can actually be quite a silly girl!
Beth may be pretty independent, but she will always be nearby when you need someone to talk to. Beth is looking for an understanding home where she can continue building confidence at her pace. With the right person, her journey is just beginning!
