Meet Blitz – A Nervous Sweetheart Ready to Trust
Blitz is a 2-year-old Spaniel mix who weighs 16 pounds. He’s had a rough start in life, which has left him a bit nervous, but underneath it all, he’s a loving little guy who just wants to feel safe and cared for.
Blitz can be very difficult to catch, partly out of fear and partly because he sees it as a game, so a securely fenced yard is required for his safety. With patience and gentle guidance, he will learn to trust and show his affectionate side.
He is reportedly dog friendly, though he hasn’t been formally tested with other dogs in our care. We don’t know how he is with cats or kids, but we imagine he would thrive in a calm, quiet home where he can learn the joys of being a lap dog.
If you’re looking for a patient, devoted companion who just needs a little time to feel safe, Blitz is ready to blossom into a loyal, loving friend.
His minimum adoption fee is $300 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.
He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
