My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Hickory, Dickory, Dock, Mouse, and Clock are 5 little zebra finches that were picked up from animal control.  They were surrendered there when their owner was no longer able to take care of them.  Dock is a male, the rest appear to be females.  We are not sure of their ages but they are fully grown and seem to be in good health.  They have a great appetite and enjoy their leafy greens and of course seed.  They spend their day conversating and make very respectful houseguests.  They are used to cats, dogs, and kids, but of course are not birds that would be out and handled.  Finches are very social birds and must be kept in pairs at minimum.

Their adoption fee is $25 a pair

To adopt any of the finches, fill out an application at www.kakf.org/forms

More about this rescue

We are a group of volunteers whose passion for animals have led us into the animal rescue community. We focus on local animals that are homeless, neglected, abused, or need a new home, and bring them to safety. Our goal is to educate, rehabilitate, and help connect animals with their forever home. Through education we hope to end the mistreatment and overpopulation of animals.
