My life didn’t start out the easiest, but none of that was my fault. I’ve already done the whole “raise puppies” thing, and now I’m ready to focus on being someone’s spoiled girl. I might take a minute to warm up to new people or places, and sometimes the guys get a cautious side-eye at first, but give me a little patience (and maybe a snack) and I quickly turn into a wiggly, kiss-giving love bug who is very excited to see you.
I’m a young husky mix with lots of energy and a big personality. I’m still working on my manners and occasionally forget that tables are not meant for jumping on… but I’m very eager to learn, especially if treats, toys, or attention are involved. Once I’m comfortable, get ready for enthusiastic greetings, lots of affection, and a dog who loves you with her whole heart.
Because I’m an active girl, I’d do best in a home where I can get outside easily and stretch my legs. I enjoy playful, friendly dog buddies who are up for some fun. Cats and kids are a bit of a mystery to me, but with respectful introductions I’d likely do just fine.
What I’m really looking for is a fresh start and someone who sees the sweet, happy girl underneath it all. If you’re ready for a loyal, slightly chaotic, very loving companion… I’m your girl.

The Windsor/Essex County Humane Society was founded in 1926 and incorporated in 1949. The Humane Society has a publicly-tendered contract with the City of Windsor to provide animal control and basic shelter services in the City. This is only a portion of the work done by our organization. In 2016 almost 12,000 animal came through the doors of our shelter and spay/neuter clinic. We can’t help them without your support.
