Cats $150.00
All cat adoption fees include leukemia testing, spaying or neutering, entire series of vaccines, de-wormer & flea treatment while at the shelter, microchipping, free vet check within 14 days of adoption at any local Columbia County Veterinarian, a complimentary adoption take-home packet and a carrier.
Puppies (under 6 months of age)................................$350.00
Dogs (over 7 months of age).......................................$250.00

All adoptions must be reviewed prior to approval. In order to ensure that every dog and cat goes to the appropriate home, Columbia Humane Society reserves the right to approve or deny any adoption application for any reason they see fit. A home check may be performed in order to determine suitability. Columbia Humane Society's kennels are not open to the public, all applications must be filled out prior to meeting with a pet.

- We ask that prior to arrival at the shelter you please either call or email for further details and to get an application for the pet.
- Meet the Pet
- When you appointment time has been set, we will have you come and meet your pet.
- Take the Pet Home
- If all goes well the pet can go home with you the same day.

CHS does not have kennels that are open to public walk through we ask that you either email or call prior to coming to the shelter to meet a pet so that we can arrange a time that we can meet with you.
