Their adoption process

Adoptions are $200 for dogs, $275 for puppies, $100 for cats, and $175 for kittens. All animals are up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed/neutered (if they are too young an appointment will be made when they become of age).

Adoption steps

  1. Submit Application
Once you find a pet your are interested in, please submit an application via lpah.org/adoption
  2. Interview
We will review/interview your references on the submitted application
  3. Meet the Pet
Once your application is approved, we will establish a time for a meet and greet in your home
  4. Sign Adoption Contract
If the meet and greet goes well and everyone is in agreement with adopting the pet, an adoption contract will occur.
  5. Pay Fee
the fee for dogs is $200 and for cats $100
  6. Take the Pet Home
Once the contract is finalized and the fee is paid, the dog can then go to its forever home!

Check out our adoptable kitties at the Sanford Petco and Petsmart adoption towers!

LPAH is a foster based rescue which means our animals are placed in a loving foster home while they wait to find their "furever" home! If you are interested in meeting any of our adoptable animals, please contact us and we will set up the perfect time and place!
